About the Author
AMY SZELIGA is a former elementary school teacher and life-long Tennessean whose childhood was spent in the mountains of East Tennessee. Amy grew up visiting Dollywood, listening to Dolly's music, and hearing about Ms. Parton's abundant philanthropic efforts. Amy's children have noticed their mother's slight obsession and have frequently asked what led to her being Dolly's number one fan. As a result, this story was born!
