Amy Szeliga is a lifelong Tennessean who grew up in East Tennessee where Dolly Parton is, and will always be, a household name. She spent many childhood and young-adult days reveling in the thrills of Dolly's theme park, Dollywood, and listening to Dolly's music. Through the years, Amy began to admire Dolly not only for her beauty, glamour, and musical talent, but for her impressive philanthropic efforts as well.
Prior to the birth of her youngest children, Amy enjoyed 13 years as an elementary school teacher who took special joy in sharing the love of reading and books with her students. So of course, Dolly's efforts with the Imagination Library are most admired!
Now a full-time wife and mother, Amy lives in Spring Hill, Tennessee with her husband Rob, her son Jackson, and her daughters Londyn and Magnolia, and their mini-bernedoodle Dixie. Amy continues to passionately enjoy reading and hopes to continue to write meaningful books for children and adults alike.
